If you're like me, the idea of starting an online business is a little frightening. There is so much information available it's almost impossible to know what to believe and where to begin.
I get asked these questions all the time: How do you know what works? What are the steps? How much money will I need upfront? How soon can I realistically start to make money for myself? The simple fact is, there are no set answers. Every business is unique--and success depends largely on the market and the amount of time and energy you're willing to spend to make it successful.
As my grandfather used to say, you also have to "have the right tools in your toolbox."
I was fortunate enough to read about the Wealthy Affiliate University before I made too many mistakes on my own. Sure, I was a little skeptical at first--because I had gotten to the point where I didn't trust any of the sites promoting online businesses.
I decided to try them after reading a number of reviews. Granted, I realize reviews can be planted--so I approached reading them with a law of averages mindset. As it turned out, I didn't have to. The reviews I read were unbelievably positive. Moreover, they were informative and gave great advice to folks just starting out.
I decided to give it a try. And, while I realize this sounds somewhat sales-ish, I haven't been sorry.
Have I crashed at end of the day because information overload? Yes. Have I increased my knowledge of internet marketing 100-fold? Yes. Do I have numerous campaigns up and running today? YES...and you can too.
I encourage you to try it out for yourself. What do you have to lose?
